Site Communications & IT System Design

Resindo has a comprehensive engineering capability with respect to system wide design including corporate reporting requirements and data backup systems.

Communications facilities as would be typically required may include;

• VSAT.
• UHF/VHF radio communication system.
• Voice Dispatching System involving a voice-over IP (VoIP) system to provide fixed telephone communication around the project area, including the process plant and power plant.
• Fibre-optic cable network for powerline and pipeline routes
• Help Desk

This includes current international firewall systems to help protect the network from public interface points and Administrator access control to minimise non-authorised internal access.

These systems serve as the backbone for plant control networks either dedicated or integrated as WAN/LAN’s in addition to forming part of the Site’s emergency notification system.

Resindo undertakes the engineering and design of the system and integration of Vendor equipment; VSAT’s, Radio, Fibre Optic including international Control Automation manufacturers; PLC’s, HMI’s, Bus systems, etc.
